Ben Michell was born and raised in Central Saanich, where generations of his family have lived and worked.

Today, Ben manages his family farm. His background also includes small-business operations and hands-on farm and residential projects. Much of his work comes down to maintaining land and equipment, solving problems as they arise, managing projects, and taking responsibility for keeping things running.

Growing up here has given Ben a strong connection to Central Saanich and a sense of responsibility for its future. That perspective shapes why he is running for Council: to bring an independent, practical and next-generation voice to the decisions that will shape the community in the years ahead.
